Did You Know Your Body Produces Ethanol....Alcohol?

Did you know your body produces "ethanol/alcohol?" The body is a continuous educational journey!! You know me, I question to always improve my knowledge and to provide you with factual information.

Isn't it interesting that our body produces ethanol? Who knew? Well, we know now!!
So why does the body produce ethanol. What's it's function? Where does it form and more importantly, how does it benefit our health and wellbeing?

The body produces ethanol from fruit, vegetables and other sources of sugar...example, the sugar you may put in your tea or coffee, wine has sugar, sweets have sugar. Get the idea?

It is produced in the liver and is transported through the blood system, and leaves the body through the sweat glands, exhalation and urine.

It functions as an anti-septic and also has a soothing effect on the nervous system.

In facial treatments, and after extraction I apply Dr. Baumann's ethanol, laboratory produced identical to the ethanol the body produces, over the extracted area to disinfect prior to proceeding further with the treatment.
